After the type of carton is determined, when drawing die-cutting layout, designers are required to ensure that the layout size is accurate and standardized. Uniform drawings should be used with clear and neat handwriting. Graphics can be used for the selection and structure development of production basis. Drawing die-cutting layout is the first key link in die-cutting plate making. The drawing designed by computer proofing machine is more accurate, and it can effectively ensure the size of die-cutting plate. In order to complete the process of die-cutting plate making, the steel knife and wire should be inserted into the plank according to the layout provided by the designer.
According to the manufacturing size and pattern of die-cutting layout, computer proofing and drawing directly on the wood plate can also be used. Choose good quality die-cutting plate, flat surface, easy to process, to ensure that the insertion of die-cutting plate knife, line size is accurate. The thickness of the die-cutting plate is generally 12-18 mm. The die-cutting single corrugated board can be thicker, and the double corrugated board can be thinner.
In order to make a die-cutting plate, the first step is to cut the die-cutting plate. Whether manual or laser cutting is used, the cutting line is required to be straight, and the width of the cutting groove is equal to the thickness of the knife and line installed here. In order to ensure that the die-cutting plate does not loose and fall off, a number of "bridge-crossing" should be set aside at the appropriate location. The length of bridge-crossing is determined by the size of the layout, and the general length is 10 mm.
Cut the steel knife and wire into corresponding length and shape and insert them into the cutting groove according to the cutting knife and line position. The dimension error of the product after fabrication and die cutting is less than 0.5mm.
After the die-cutting plate is processed, the die-cutting plate should be proofed on the die-cutting machine. If there are no problems, the die-cutting plate can be put into production formally, but in the proofing and production process, the following problems are prone to occur.
Large area or partial pinching is impermeable. In order to compensate for the height of the die cutter, a thin layer of paper should be padded on the corresponding part of the back of the cutting board or die cutting plate. Do not damage the blade by padding more paper and too much pressure.
Local indentation line position fracture. Due to the dryness of cardboard, poor paper quality, or improper use of indentation line, the phenomenon of fracturing at indentation often occurs. In this case, three measures can be taken. One is to use corrugated board with moisture content of 14 +2%. The second is to replace the steel wire, especially the die-cutting double corrugated board, which can use the "big head line". Thirdly, the drum line is pasted on the cutting board. The depth and width of the drum line are 1.2-1.4 mm and 3-5 mm respectively.
The position and dimension of die cutting are not accurate. In the production process, the quality of stamping products should be checked at any time. If the size and printing position are not on time, the die cutting rules should be adjusted in time. Because of the number of die cutting, the position of knife and line deviates and should be replaced in time.
